Time is set aside within the programme to explore some of the many sights within walking distance of the venue including: Edinburgh Castle, Surgeons’ Hall Museum, the National Museum of Scotland, conquering the summit of Arthur’s Seat, or just wandering the streets and taking in the architecture (and the occasional whisky sample).

Informal meet-up (Tuesday 6:30pm)

Following the excursions, an informal meet-up is planned at George IV bar, 54 George IV Bridge, EH1 1EJ. The bar is just across the road from the speakers’ dinner venue (The Outsider), Vitoria’s Italian and Café Andaluz restaurants.
